About and credits

Critical Care Teaching was conceived by Dr Kat Fifield, Dr Nick Plummer, Dr Sofia Korre, and Dr Jenny Adams. It has since grown and is now used across the East Midlands (and beyond), and is currently maintained by Dr Nick Plummer, Anna Bolland (ACCP) and Dr Paras Patel as part of online and shop-floor teaching programmes at Nottingham University Hospitals and University Hospitals of Leicester.

This is intended to be living document, evolving and improving with every use, so if you have any comments, complaints, or suggestions about anything at all then either get in touch with us using the Google Form or find any one of us in person (we don't bite).

This wouldn't be a useful resource without contributions from countless consultants and trainees across the region. We are indebted in particular to Dr Allan Howatson and Dr James Bonnington's tireless work in providing teaching material on the NUH Critical Care YouTube channel, and Dr Hugo Buckley from Bolton Critical Care whose "theme of the week" concept we shamelessly pilfered and expanded on.
